The general activities of the Youth Coalition fall under four key themes: policy; sector development; advocacy and representation; and, projects that respond to ongoing and current issues.
The Youth Coalition undertakes a range of advocacy and representation work that aims to raise awareness of emerging issues to both government and the broader community
One of the ways that the Youth Coalition aims to achieve its objectives is through pro-actively engaging in the development of policy that affects young people aged 12 – 25.
The Youth Coalition provides a number of sector development activities to workers and services in the youth and community sectors.
The Youth Coalition is regularly engaged in a number of short-term and on-going projects and partnerships.
