Sharon Casey

Sharon Casey relocated from Sydney to work for the National Folk Festival in 1998.  As Support Manager she worked in consultation with experienced volunteers to develop the policies and procedures manual that won the NFF both State and National first prizes and $10,000 prize money in the 2005 NAB Volunteer Awards.  Sharon has subsequently worked in the arts and non profit sector, predominantly in member based organisations, as General Manager for Canberra Youth Theatre, Executive Officer for Friends of the National Museum, Executive Officer for Ag Institute Australia, and Arts Admin for Tuggeranong Arts Centre before coming to work for Youth Coalition of the ACT. 

Sharon is currently the Business Manager for Youth Co, and does work for Families ACT and ACT Shelter in that capacity.  She brings extensive knowledge and experience in managing the budgets and finances of non profits.
