National Youth Week is a chance for people aged 12-25 to celebrate what’s great, have their say about issues, get information, perform, compete, try new things and heaps more. Youth Week events are happening all over the country, events for young people, by young people and about young people.

Here in Canberra we have over 35 events happening all over town. Check out some of our featured events below or click the link to the calendar to check out all the events that are happening.

You can also check out www.youthweek.com for all the events happening around Australia, as well as talent comps and give aways. If you would like any more information, or would like to get involved with Youth Week events contact Elena Kirschbaum at youthweek@youthcoalition.net or call 6247 3540.

Youth Week Expo

Friday 13th April, 4pm – 9pm @ Garema Place
Youth Week's huge opening event in the heart of the City. Heaps of awesome bands and musicians on two huge stages, dancers, Bring It On style cheerleading, circus performances and loads more. Have a go at hula hooping, graffiti art, hacky sack, and making your own t-shirts, get an airbrush tattoo, or some of the cool prizes and give-aways on offer. Check out the art and craft stalls and information, free food and drinks and so much more planned for the Youth Week Expo. If you go to one event this year make it this one, a huge one-night-only event.

There are still a couple of spots left for stallholders but they are going fast. Are you aged between 12-30? Do you make clothes, badges, or other cool stuff? Have a stall at the Expo!

Contact youthweek@youthcoalition.net as soon as possible to reserve your place.
