As well as these awesome events, Youth Week in Canberra includes other events like:
- The Young Carers Big Breakfast: A day beginning with a breakfast and continuing with a fun day of actiivites for young people who care for relatives with an illness, a disability, a mental illness or an alcohol or other drug problem.
- ADHS SRC Launch IT Swarm Project: The ADHS SRC Launch IT Swarm Project is based in Emergent Technologies, using either or both the mobile phone and the MP3 podcasting receiver device to run a series of Swarming events, where students have to complete a task without any verbal or written communication.
- Multicultural Youth BBQ: A BBQ will be held at Glebe Park in Civic to celebrate diversity and multicultural young people in the ACT. There will be soccer and other fun activities for young people to participate in.
- Quamby Youth Detention Centre Expo: A day for youth service providers to make contact with young inmates in Quamby.
- CREATE Foundation Young Consultants Training: Young Consultants Training provides skills in presentation and public speaking and makes available the unique perspective of Young People in Care.
