The Youth Coalition organises and hosts the Monthly Forum, which provides an opportunity for workers in the youth and community sector to network, share information, and hear from guest speakers on current and relevant topics and issues. The Monthly Forum is held on the third Thursday of each month (except December and January) from 9 - 11am, at the Youth Coalition office (46 Clianthus St, O'Connor). Everyone is welcome to attend.

Seminars will occasionally follow the Monthly Forum from 11am - 12pm, and will be advertised in the weekly eBulletin. Click here for more information about the eBulletin.
Agenda items for the Monthly Forums include:
- Update from the Youth Coalition: Information on previous and upcoming Youth Coalition activities, events, policy activities and submissions;
- Guest Speaker: Each month a guest speaker will provide information to workers on a current and relevant issue. Examples of guest speakers in 2010 include the Department of Education and Training, on the changes to education attainment for young people; Mental Health ACT, on free training available to workers about children of parents with mental illness; and a number of youth advisory committees who presented on models of youth participation;
- Information Sharing: All workers and services that attend the forum provide a short update on their services, which are also published in the weekly eBulletin; and,
- Morning Tea.
