Training and Professional Development Calendar

The Training and Professional Development Calendar is a product of the Training and Professional Development Network and is produced bi-monthly by the Youth Coalition of the ACT in partnership with the ACT AOD Sector Project.

This calendar has an average distribution of over 500 in the ACT and surrounding area to the youth, alcohol and other drug, mental health, family support, community and government sectors.

Training and Professional Development Network (TPDN)

The TPDN began in June 2005 in response to findings from consultation conducted by the Youth Coalition of the ACT. The TPDN seeks:

• To support a co-ordinated approach towards training, professional development educational opportunities;
• To be responsive to needs and emerging issues; and
• To provide opportunities for training and professional development providers, brokers and community educators in the ACT and surrounding region to share information and collaborate.
