| Bus Tours |
The Youth Coalition now runs monthly bus tours
for government and non-government workers from a variety of community
sector agencies.
The bus tours are a product of a partnership with the ACT Health Co-Morbidity
Project, as a practical, hands-on means of providing the opportunity
to:

Network;

Learn more about the service system;
-
Develop a
better understanding of how to make appropriate and comprehensive
referrals;
-
Better understand the issues facing both
services and youth people and their families;
-
Build partnerships;
-
Gather and share information;
-
Better understand
the mental health sector;
-
Better understand the AOD sector;
-
Better understand
how to support young people and their families; and,
-
Meet other
professionals from the youth, alcohol and other drug, mental
health and community sectors
