Youth Coalition E- Bulletin

The Youth Coalition produces a weekly eBulletin. The eBulletin is a concise summary of important developments, publications, events and other youth related information for the ACT. The eBulletin is subscribed to by a broad range of stake-holders including government and non-government workers and young people. With over 630 subscribers and growing, it is the biggest such bulletin in the ACT.

Submitting to the eBulletin

  • Content for the eBulletin is due by 5pm every Wednesday.
  • Please keep items brief and list two contacts, email and phone if possible. We will include hyperlinks and attachments where possible.
  • Please note the Youth Coalition will make every effort to include a submitted item, however we prioritize content to items that are most relevant to the youth sector or to young people.

What's in the eBulletin?
Here's an breakdown of the content of the e-Bulletin:

  • News from the Youth Coalition - Updates on our activities.
  • Monthly Youth Sector Update - Once a month after our forum we report back on information shared by services, programs and workers.
  • Sector Development - Information on networks, resources, websites, fact-sheets, and "things for workers".
  • Training and Professional Development - Training for the youth and community sector, including upcoming seminars, conferences, Bus Tours, courses, and education opportunities.
  • Policy and Reports - New research, reports, inquiry findings, and any key policy activities effecting young people or the sector.
  • Media - Media releases relating to young people and the sector from the Youth Coalition and others sources including news articles.
  • Sector Activities and Events - Launches, key weeks, international days, and program and service activities.
  • For Young People - To inform workers so they can inform young people. Anything young people can participate in such as training, events or activities.
  • Employment - Employment for the youth and community sector.
  • Grants and Funding Opportunities - Upcoming grants, funding opportunities and tenders.
  • Lead up to "X" Week - Periodically the Youth Coalition highlights events, activities and / or issues of note leading up to a special event, such as Youth Week, National Reconciliation Week and Drug Action Week.
